Brewtoberfest 2026: The Results Are In! 🍻

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Brewtoberfest 2026! It was an incredible day of fantastic beer, great company, and tough competition. The talent in our homebrew club continues to amaze us, and the voting was closer than ever.

We tabulated the results across our three voting categories: Public Choice, Brewers Choice, and the Hosting Brewery Vote.

Here is who took home the bragging rights this year:

👥 Public Choice Winner

The crowd has spoken! After tasting through an incredible lineup, the public crown goes to Adam D. with his outstanding Weissbier / Hefeweizen from Low Light Brewing Company, pulling in a stellar average score of 4.28!

• 2nd Place: American Pale Ale - Golden Yarrow Pale Ale (Coven & Craft / Makayla Kinsley) – 4.24

• 3rd Place: Smoked Helles Lager - A Kiss of Smoke (Shay Brewing / Pat Shay) – 3.78

🍺 Brewers Choice Winner

Voted on strictly by our fellow peers and homebrewers, the prestigious Brewers Choice award goes to Matt Hansen of Shoreline Brewing Co. for his delicious Witbier - Raspberry Wheat, dominating the peer vote with a 4.17 average score!

• 2nd Place: Weissbier (10A) (Low Light Brewing Company / Adam D.) – 3.83

• 3rd Place (Tie): American Pale Ale (Coven & Craft / Makayla Kinsley) & New Zealand Pilsner (Bart's Brew / Jerry Barthel) – 3.75

🚀 Hosting Brewery Vote: Scaling Up to the Big System!

A massive shoutout to our amazing hosts this year, Remedy Brewing Company! Their team tasted through the field to select one homebrew recipe to scale up, brew on their commercial system, and put on tap.

The Remedy crew fell in love with Adam D.’s German Wheat Beer / Hefeweizen! Adam will be heading into the brewhouse with the Remedy brew team to scale up his recipe for a full commercial release. Keep your eyes peeled for details on the upcoming release party so you can grab a pint of it fresh from the commercial taps!
